1. Introduction

Welcome to AJ’s Photolabs. By booking a session, purchasing products, or using this website hosted via Pixieset, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

AJ’s Photolabs is a freelance photography business based in Germany, specializing in fine art photography, street, nature, wildlife, landscapes, automotive photography, and digital art.

2. Booking & Payment

2.1 Session Booking

A booking is confirmed only after:

• Written confirmation (email or message), and

• Payment of the agreed deposit (if applicable).

Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.2 Payment Terms

• Full payment is due before delivery of final high-resolution images or physical products.

• Prints, calendars, postcards, wall art, and digital artwork must be paid in full before production or delivery.

• Prices are listed in EUR (€) unless otherwise stated.

AJ’s Photolabs reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time. Confirmed bookings are not affected.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

3.1 Client Cancellation

• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session may result in loss of deposit.

• Rescheduling due to emergency may be accommodated at discretion.

3.2 Weather Conditions

For outdoor shoots, sessions may be rescheduled due to unsafe or unsuitable weather conditions.

4. Image Delivery

4.1 Turnaround Time

• Standard delivery time: 7–14 business days.

• Fine art edits, commercial work, or digital art projects may require additional time depending on complexity.

4.2 Editing Style

All images and digital artworks are delivered in AJ’s Photolabs’ artistic style.

RAW files are not delivered.

5. Prints & Physical Products

5.1 Production

All print products (fine art prints, calendars, postcards, wall art) are produced through professional labs.

Color may vary slightly due to screen calibration differences.

5.2 Shipping

• Shipping times depend on location and production timelines.

• AJ’s Photolabs is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.

5.3 Damaged Goods

If a product arrives damaged, the client must notify AJ’s Photolabs within 48 hours with photo evidence.

6. Copyright & Usage Rights

6.1 Copyright Ownership

All images and digital artworks remain the intellectual property of AJ’s Photolabs unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6.2 Personal Use License

Clients receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use only.

Images and digital artworks may not be:

• Sold

• Edited or filtered

• Submitted to competitions without permission

• Used commercially without written agreement

6.3 Commercial Usage

Commercial usage requires a separate licensing agreement and fee.

7. Website & Online Gallery Usage

This website and online galleries are hosted via Pixieset.

Clients are responsible for:

• Keeping gallery links private if marked private

• Downloading images before gallery expiration

AJ’s Photolabs is not responsible for expired galleries after the stated access period.

8. Client Responsibility

Clients must:

• Arrive on time for scheduled sessions

• Obtain necessary permits for restricted locations

• Ensure cooperation of all participants during the shoot

AJ’s Photolabs is not liable for missed shots due to lack of cooperation or external restrictions.

9. Limitation of Liability

In the unlikely event of:

• Equipment failure

• Data corruption

• Illness or emergency

Liability is limited to a refund of payments received.

AJ’s Photolabs is not responsible for indirect damages, loss of income, or consequential losses.

Client data is handled in accordance with applicable German and EU data protection laws (GDPR).

Personal information is used solely for communication, booking management, and delivery of services.
